The author argues that journalists and politicians refer to the concept of post-truth in the wrong way. The source of this error is maliciously intentional, maintained by some intellectual writers of our time; and the misconception is also produced by unofficial or official voices of neoliberalism in political power. In addition, this mistaken idea exists also due to the old premise conceived as a common thought of positivism, the idea of the existence of a single possible truth and that it answers to logical derivations. This article attempts to explain that the single source of truth in a modern, democratic society is only science, which still has a lot to clarify regarding truth, especially after the linguistic twist as well as the gradual but strong development of interpretation as a method for reaching the truth, with the worthy support of semiotic sources, based on the 2nd Wittgenstein, Saussure, Peirce, Bakhtin, Eco, Barthes, and others.Downloads
