Abstract

The relationship between Law, Literature and utopias can be studied through the role played by legal themes in utopian literature. To reach this point, however, the specific relationship between Law and Literature systematized in the Law and Literature Movement and its different dimensions has been examined, among which the dimension of Law in Literature stands out, as it shows the influence of legal themes in Literature. The literary genre of utopia clearly shows how the inclusion of legal issues in literature can help both the law, by considering from literary works how the ideal law should be, and Literature, since legal systems help to build utopian societies. To this end, we will take into consideration the primordial work of the genre, Thomas More's Utopia.
