CRISE NO ENSINO JURÍDICO BRASILEIRO: REFLEXÕES E ENFRENTAMENTOS ATRAVÉS DO DIREITO E LITERATURA

Abstract

This literary review falls within the scope of studies in Law and Literature. The main goal is to contribute to the existing debate about the crisis in traditional Brazilian legal education, since its immobilization, motivated mainly by the adaptation of the course to the capitalist market model, is reflecting on the professional training of jurists and, consequently, on the entire justice system, deserving due attention and debate.In addition, this review will also discuss the role of Law and Literature as a possibility to face this issue. Duly noted, when carrying out multiple readings and analyzing my personal institutional experiences as a Bachelor of Law at the Federal University of Western Bahia - UFOB, that interdisciplinary stdies represented relevant sources of learning and that Law and Literature is a “tool of the possible”, capable of stimulate a greater empathetic, reflective and critical potential of undergraduates and future law enforcers, so that they can be agents of social change.
